WHAT?! This Love Island Couple Got Married On Live TV

In their swimsuits, no less.

Love Island couple Jess Shears and Dom Lever tied the knot live on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning dressed in some seriously skimpy white swimwear.

The couple rose to fame on the third season of the dating reality show and have been in the media ever since. Their relationship appeared to be on the rocks after a cheating scandal arose before the show ended when Jess was seen being “intimate” with a fellow contestant known as ‘Muggy Mike’.

Despite this, Jess and Dom appear to be stronger than ever after they were “wed” on live television by Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold for a Valentine’s Day special of the breakfast show.

The couple even wrote their very own Love Island themed vows for the fake ceremony. Jess confessed her love for Dom by saying “I promise to share our life story on social media from this day forward because you’re my type on paper”. Cute!

Some viewers didn’t see the fun in the ceremony, criticising the reality couple for what they thought appeared to be a publicity stunt.

Jess responded to the criticism on Twitter, saying that some viewers need to learn how to “take a joke” and that she’s excited for their real wedding in October.

Dom added: “What a morning #haterswillhate”.

We are VERY excited for a Love Island wedding!
