Honestly, that Euphoria finale was exhausting. Viewers were in for an emotional rollercoaster during the final episode of season two, which saw character Fezco getting ready to leave for a play by his possible love interest Lexi. Fez could be seen with a bouquet of roses and a handwritten letter, which viewers could only assume confessed his feelings.

But moments before Fez could leave for the play, police raided his home, fatally shooting his little brother Ashtray. Among the heartbreak, audiences were left desperate to find out what the letter contained. Would it have confirmed that a romance was blossoming between the two?

Well, Angus Cloud, who plays Fezco, has let us in on his ideas for what the letter contained.

In his classic laid back manner, Cloud confirmed that the letter was an acknowledgement of the feelings brewing between the pair. ‘I think (Fez and Lexi) both know there’s a vibe going on…Definitely taking it to the next level with them flowers and whatnot. So I think the letter was just being like, ‘Yo, good job for fucking doing you.’”

When asked whether fans of the couple should remain hopeful for their future in season three, Cloud said simply, ‘I would say yeah. Yeah.’

Well, there you have it! Although Cloud seems confident that Fez and Lexi’s moment is coming, it doesn’t completely soothe our worries, as it appears that the actors are kept in the dark at times with the script. Javon Walton, who plays Ashtray, revealed that it was actually Fez’ character who was supposed to die, not his!

‘It was Fez that was supposed to get shot at first, which is crazy…And then, like a day before, they changed the storyline to me getting shot.” The actor went on to say that he isn’t fully convinced that Ashtray is dead, and that he might pull through for season 3.

‘There’s definitely hope for Ashtray to still be alive… I believe he has a shot about being around for Season 3’. Wait, what?!

Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds. The anticipation is killing us!
