What’s The Drama Between Taylor Swift’s Publicist And Deux Moi?

Deux Moi has come under fire more than once over the years, and nothing much has come of it.

However, this time they might have really landed themselves in hot water!

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Deux Moi is a blind item Instagram page, that posts celebrity gossip and rumours from anonymous sources.

While a lot of what they post is conjecture or simply made up, they’ve gained credibility as some of the information they’ve shared has turned out to be true – like Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalet dating.

This week, the page took to sharing some intimate gossip about Taylor Swift – and her publicist is not happy.

A post on Deux Moi’s Instagram suggested that Taylor Swift had secretly gotten married to her ex boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

The post alleged the pair had tied the knot in a private ceremony, either in 2020 or 2021.

Taylor’s publicist, Tree Paine, slammed the post on her Twitter account, calling out Deux Moi directly.

“Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi”, she wrote. “There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind.

“This is an insane thing to post,” she went on, adding, “It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these.”

Yikes.

Fans have pointed out that Tree Paine is one of the most successful publicists of all time; and she’s got one of the most powerful musicians in the world as her client.

Some reckon Taylor might be set to take legal action toward Deux Moi, especially considering it’s not the first time the page have referenced her.

Deux Moi has posted photos of Taylor taken secretly by eager fans, speculated over many of her relationships, and even broke the news that her and Joe had separated before they went public with the information.

Who knows if the conflict will go anywhere, or if Deux Moi might take a step back from reporting on Taylor.

That might be the wisest thing to do right now!
