Where Is She?! This Is Why You Haven’t Seen Hide Nor Hair Of Taylor Swift Since February

She's been MIA for absolutely ages.

There’s a huge Taylor Swift-shaped hole in our social media feeds as of late.

News of the singer’s love life and music routinely fills up our feeds, but Tay fans have been left high and dry, with no sightings of the international star since her last public performance on February 4th.

Her social media accounts have been equally quiet. She last used her Instagram to promote her pal Lorde’s new single Green Light on March 3rd, and she hasn’t updated her Twitter since January 27th, so what’s gives? Why has Tay Tay gone off the grid and left us all with a (cough) blank space in our lives?

Well, apparently the answer is simple and fans have no need to worry, because the Shake It Off hitmaker has merely fallen off radar to work on new music, with her upcoming album expected before the end of the year.

A source confirms to ET, that the star is hiding out in Nashville while she figures out the sound and feel of her new album, due for release in the coming months.

“She comes here to get away from the paparazzi,” they revealed. “[She] has been busy working on her upcoming album.”

So there you have it. Rest assured, Tay Tay will be making a resurgence once she’s put that new album to bed.
