Why Haven’t We Seen Eva Mendes With Ryan Gosling Lately?

Ryan Gosling is having a serious moment in the spotlight – as we anticipate his role as Ken in The Barbie Movie, he’s stepping out everywhere from teaser trailers to red carpets.

But some fans have noticed that Ryan’s equally famous (and totally gorgeous) wife Eva Mendes hasn’t been spotted with him at any of the events he’s been frequenting. So, why haven’t we seen her?

Well, a couple of Instagram comments from Eva can explain.

A couple of weeks ago, a fan commented on a sweet post from Eva showing her and Ryan in the film The Place Beyond The Pines. The fan wrote that they hoped that Barbie would make it through the awards season, so they might get to see Eva alongside Ryan on the red carpet.

Eva’s response cleared something up. “you’re the best ! What a cool comment, thank you. But we don’t do those things together. Like these photos I’ve been posting, I’m only comfortable posting because it’s already out there”.

Further clarifying in a later reply, she said “By ‘not comfortable’ , I mean exposing our very private life that we value. I’m still dying to do another movie with him though…”, adding a love heart to her comment.
