Yassss! It Looks Like That Sister Sister Reboot Is *Finally* Happening!
Go home, Roger.
If you were a nineties kid, you’ll be thrilled to hear the iconic kids show Sister Sister is getting a reboot. And if you’re unfortunate enough to not know what we’re talking about, allow us to fill you in.
Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell are identical twins who were separated at birth and only learn of each other’s existence in their teens. They move in together with their respective single parents and all sorts of tales unfold.
There’s also a young neighbour boy called Roger who won’t go home.
And now, 18 years after the hilarious show came to an end, it seems it’s about to get a reboot. In a recent interview with Nylon, Tia admitted that she and Tamera are “looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show.”
But the 39-year-olds are taking their time, making sure it’s done right and with the best people. Tia added that it’s a more difficult process than she expected. “I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be.” But that won’t stop the show from going ahead.
“Everything in my career has always been a challenge,” she said, “It’s not dead in any kind of way. We’re moving forward, we’re taking those strides. They’re slow strides, but we’re pushing as hard as we can to make people happy and make our fans happy.”
And it seems like her good friend, Marques Houston, who played the role of Roger will get on board too. He shared a selfie on Instagram of he and Tia making silly faces with the caption, “We never grow up lol ? me and my day 1 bestie @tiamowry wow! It’s been so many years, and to still have such a great relationship is just a true blessing ? I love you always ? “.
How different does he look, BTW?
We are *so* ready for this reboot to happen, are you?
Have your say
