Yep, Maura Higgins Just Joined The Biggest Reality Show In America

Our very own Maura Higgins is joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars US – the biggest reality TV show in the States!

The Longford woman announced the news this week, following her stint on The Traitors US. And we’re so excited to see her take to the ballroom.

“I’m very scared,” she said on Good Morning America. “I’m very excited, I’m extremely excited.

“I manifested this, for quite a while. I’m a huge believer in manifestation, I had it on my vision board.

“But it doesn’t feel real yet. It’s like, am I? Really? You know when you want something so bad, it doesn’t feel real yet.”

Maura added that she’s already excited to get going on rehearsals: “I’m going to give it my all. I’m so happy. I can’t wait to get really fit and wear all the sexy costumes.

“I just want to start now.”

Since joining The Traitors – and finishing runner up – Maura’s star has only been on the rise.

She has worked with major brands like Diet Coke, eBay, and Uber, and even been the centre of rumours surrounding the latest series of The Bachelorette.

The current season of the hugely popular franchise was pulled from airing after domestic abuse allegations came out against Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, Taylor Frankie Paul.

Fans later became convinced that Maura would take over the series, and try her hand at reality TV love again.

Even celebrity gossip Instagram page, Deux-Moi, shared rumours that this could be the case.

They claimed that ABC is “looking into getting Maura Higgins to be the next Bachelorette and do a living shooting of it”.

Right now it’s looking less likely as Maura will be tied up with DWTS rehearsals – but never say never.
