Yikes! Yankee Candle Have Recalled Some Of Their Products Due To Safety Concerns

Candles are a handy stocking filler, but if you’ve ticked a few names of your pressie list with a Yankee candle or two, you may want to make sure they’re not part of the recall the company issued at the end of last week.

The company has announced that they’ll be recalling their Luminous Collection Fragrance Candles after receiving 16 reports of the glass incasing shattering when the candle was lit.

There are six candles that are of concern and if you reckon you may have purchased one of them you should check the batch numbers below:

• 1535651: Sea Salt & Coral
• 1535890: Blackberry & Sage
• 1535891: Apple Blossom & Melon
• 1535892: Sugarcane & Honey
• 1535893: Pine & Sandalwood
• 1535894: Cinnamon & Cedar

Reckon yours needs to be returned? Contact the company via their website, where you will be issued a full refund for the faulty product.

Guess you’ll just have to fill those stockings with chocolate instead.
