Zooey Deschanel Is Engaged To TV Personality Jonathon Scott

Zooey Deschanel is engaged!
The New Girl actress announced on her Instagram that she will be getting married to boyfriend of four years Jonathon Scott.
In an adorable post, Zooey wrote “Forever starts now!!!”, including a loved up emoji and an infinity emoji. Aww!

So who is Jonathon Scott?
The Canadian TV personality is best known for his role on Property Brothers, a real estate reality TV show. The programme follows Jonathon and his identical twin brother Drew as they scout neglected properties and transform them for new buyers.
Zooey first met Jonathon on an episode of Carpool Karaoke – how random! The pair instantly hit it off, going public with their romance soon after the show aired.

In an interview on the At Home With Linda And Drew podcast, Jonathon confessed that while he thought he was “playing it cool”, the producers said he was “flirting so bad, like, so hard, they had to cut a bunch of that out”. Gas!
According to People, Jonathon popped the question to Zooey over the weekend while they were on a family trip to Scotland.
Zooey has been married twice before, once to Death Cab For Cutie singer Ben Gibbard, from 2009-2011, and the second time to Jacob Pechenik, from 2015 to 2019. Zooey has two children with Jacob, Elsie Otter (aged 8) and Charlie Wolf (aged 6).
Jonathon has no children but was previously married to Kelsey Ully from 2007-2009.
