‘I Had The Outfit!’: The Traitors’ Amy Jokes She Wanted Iconic Death

Amy Meehan was murdered on Sunday night’s show of The Traitors.

She jokes that her murder was “lacklustre” after Christine’s dramatic funeral scene last week.

Joking to us she says: “I would have liked the iconic scene, I had the outfit there! I thought it was going to be me. I didn’t think it was going to be Christine because she was so beloved. Mine was a bit lacklustre!

“But she’s so iconic, I couldn’t imagine it any other way. If anyone deserved a murder like that it was her.”

She’s keeping her fingers crossed that her good pal Kelley wins the show, but Traitors Nick and Ben are really flying under the radar.

“I think the boys are playing a very smart game because no one suspects them because they’re so beloved in there. They were original Faithfuls and the Traitor hunters,” she explains as to how they have just gone undetected in Slane Castle.

“They have really cemented that. I’m hoping that the girls hunt them out but it’s hard to see what avenue it would have to go down for that to happen. But it’s anyone’s game in there, everything can turn on a dime. You’re so fully immersed, you can’t see past that moment, you can’t see after that table, the next morning. It’s anyone’s at the moment.”

While it looks like they are getting away scot-free, Amy promises there are suspicions on the lads.

“I thought it was one or the other, I didn’t think it was both. When I saw that I was shook! I don’t know for definite but I’m hoping the girls will sniff them out!”

She laughs as she adds: “Unfortunately, I wasn’t great at finding Traitors. I was mostly there to make friends!”
