We were among the lucky few last night to attend an exclusive preview of the long-awaited Balmain X H&M collection. Here are the five amazing bits we're shopping...

Last night we attended the amaze-o Balmain X H&M collection pre-launch shopping event at H&M’s Irish flagship store on Dame St. Amongst a gaggle of bloggers, press and excited fashion fans we queued to see the hotly anticipated designer-meets-high-street collaboration.

And then, the doors opened and we poured into fashion nirvana. With glasses of bubbly being served up alongside scummy cappuccino and chocolate brownie macaroons, we scoured through the rails, and were served up a veritable fashion feast of standout embellished bits, structured pieces and showstopping sequin dresses.

This certainly isn’t H&M’s cheapest collection, with prices ranging from a reasonable €9.99 up to €399.99 (the budget prep starts now) but none-the-less we managed to whittle our wishlist down to five extraordinary pieces, that are totally worth breaking our bank balance for.
