Samantha Mumba Is Bringing Out A New Album And We Can’t Cope

It'll be her first time releasing new music in over 12 years.

Samantha Mumba is one of the biggest names in Irish pop culture history. She may have fallen off the radar slightly after her noughties success, but now she’s announced she has new music coming and we can’t contain our excitement.

The singer announced the news on her Instagram in December alongside her 2018 Spotify wrapped. In the caption of her artist stats, she wrote:

“SO blown away by this…especially as it isn’t current material…..THANK YOU….and it makes me so much more hype to be releasing music in 2019 now?? Hope you’ll all come on this new journey with me!?” She then used the hashtags #newmusic #newalbum.

Official Charts confirmed the news on Twitter yesterday.

The new album marks Samantha’s first time releasing new music in over 12 years.

Since the news was confirmed, rumours have been circulating that Samantha will be joining Boyzone on their ‘Thank You and Goodnight Tour.’

According to The Star, she is in talks to support the band on their 25th anniversary tour having first supported them 20 years ago.

We can’t wait to see what she has in store for us!
