May’s STELLAR magazine was very much ’70s-fashion focused – our shoot was all touchable textures, dark retro prints and loooooong legs, shot in the gorge VIP bar in Whelan’s.

It’s a trend that’s oh-so easy to get into: start with a pair of floor-skimming flared jeans (New Look and MiH get our nod), continue with a tassled handbag (check out the new luxe range at Accessorize) and finish off with a pair of shades (think aviators rather than cat-eye for full-on ’70s chic).

Beauty should be pared-back and devil-may-care, but don’t be afraid to go OTT on the eyes with a cream shadow and lashings of mascara.
