Sick Of Rainy Weather? Check Out This Music Festival In Budapest
If there’s one thing we love about summer in Ireland, it’s the amazing festivals we have here. From Body & Soul to All Together Now and Electric Picnic, there is no shortage of music-filled weekends on our shores.
Sadly, the weather isn’t always as good as the line-up, however.
If you’re dying to get to a festival this year, but didn’t secure tickets, or you can’t cope with the cold and rain, Budapest may just have the answer.
Sziget Festival kicks off on August 10th for five days of fun, and sun!
As one of the largest music and cultural festivals in Europe, there’s something for everyone.
This year, acts who are due to hit Irish festivals such as Niall Horan, Billie Eilish, Lorde and more, will be taking to the Sziget stage.
Standout acts include Florence + The Machine, David Guetta, Mumford and Sons, Macklemore, Mimi Webb and loads more.
As a cultural festival, there’s also lots of entertainment and fun across various stages.
There’s Magic Mirror, a stage dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, Art of Freedom which has onsite installations and areas full of art and creativity and Cirque du Sziget for the most spectacular performances.
