Love Island’s Ekin Su: ‘I Can’t Wait To Meet Curtis’ Mum!’

Love Island stars Ekin Su and Curtis were back in Ireland this month – and we got the chance to catch up with the pair. 

The love birds appeared at the opening of BPerfect Cosmetics’ new 2.0 Megastore in The Square in Tallaght, and chatted all about their recent Love Island experience, their Irish connections, and Ekin Su’s collab with the brand.

Curtis tells us that he’s got a few favourite moments from the villa: “One of them is that first triple date that we had with Scott and Ronnie in the secret garden,” he says.

“I remember just locking eyes with [Ekin], it’s ingrained in my head. So that was one of my favourite things. And then our actual first date.”

Ekin Su added: “The first chat I asked him; do you want kids in the future? I went straight into it,” while Curtis said: “You came in and sat down and you were like, right, I’ve got a list of questions, here we go boom, boom, boom.”

The new it couple also gave us a little insight to what their love life is like now outside the villa as they’ve been easing back into normal life… and thinking about the future. 

“It’s really random but we were watching Netflix at home together, and Curtis has got me into The Gentleman,” said Ekin Su. “I was looking at Theo James, and I thought I can see a resemblance a little bit between him and Curtis.”

With family ties in Ireland, Ekin Su was very happy to have the opportunity to come back to promote her collection at BPerfect’s new megastore. And it’s no surprise what her favourite thing about Ireland is… 

“The potatoes!” she said. Curtis added: “The people, the Guinness because it tastes way better in Ireland than anywhere else, and live music everywhere you go.”

He went on: “I like ambition and things like that, it’s really attractive to see Ekin doing her work, she’s got her own range with BPerfect. It’s like bloody awesome.

“I love coming over and supporting her. There’s hundreds of people here, it’s pretty cool.”

When we asked what Ekin’s favourite BPerfect product is the reality star of course said it was the BPerfect Radiant Glow, a product from her own collaboration with the Irish brand.

“It’s number one here,” she said. “It sells out like that *clicks*. We’ve ordered some for Curtis’ mum. I cannot wait to meet her! I will do her make up one day as well.”
