Taylor Swift sent her loyal fanbase of Swifties into a frenzy when she announced her engagement to Travis Kelce this week.
The megastar musician shared a series of pictures of the proposal that saw the NFL star get down on one knee surrounded by beautiful flowers.
The romantic moment happened in Lee’s Summit, a garden in Missouri.
The couple shared a joint Instagram post with a signature cheesey caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Travis reportedly worked with Kindred Lubeck from Artifex Fine Jewelry to design the ring.
According to Forbes, it’s an eight-carat Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond set on a gold band. This particular cut of diamond is believed to date between the early 18th century to the late 19th century.
Jewellery brand VRAI said: “Old Mine Cut diamonds are square shaped with rounded corners and have 58 facets. However, no two Old Mine Cut diamonds are alike. You can recognize one by its small table, larger culet and high crown.”
Jewellers estimate the ring costs between $550,000 and $1 million.
And while we’re sure they’re still riding high on their engagement buzz, everyone is already thinking about the wedding day.
Now it’s been rumoured the big day could happen right here in Ireland.
Lads, we’ll have to buy hats!
According to Ladbrokes, Ireland currently has odds of 8/1 to be the backdrop to Tayvis’ big day.
When Taylor jetted into Dublin last summer for her three sold-out gigs for the Eras Tour, she gushed about her love for the country calling Irish people “unmatched storytellers”, with the “best accents”.
“Nobody does it like you. You know that right?” she enthused.

She also revealed that her album Folklore was inspired by the Irish countryside.
“Folklore in general, it just belongs in Ireland,” she told the crowd.
“How I imagined the album world looking [was like] Ireland. Storytelling with lots of different characters. You guys have that on lock, too. That’s very Irish, the storytelling,” she gushed.
In her song Sweet Nothings, she gives a shoutout to Ireland, singing: “Does it ever miss Wicklow sometimes?”
Taylor spent time in Ireland with her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, while he was filming Conversations with Friends back in 2021.
