Saoirse Ronan has welcomed her first child with her husband Jack Lowden, according to reports.

The notoriously private couple has not made any statements on their growing family.

In fact, the news broke when Saoirse walked the red carpet with a blossoming baby bump.

Now the Carlow woman and the Scotsman have been paparazzied walking with a pram in London.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, Saoirse can be seen looking relaxed in a pair of white jeans and an oversized shirt as Jack pushes their newborn.

He opted for a pair of shorts and a polo shirt for the stroll.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Scotland last year surrounded by just a handful of people.

Around the time of their wedding, Saoirse opened up about becoming a mother. Speaking to Vogue Magazine, she admitted that she does want to have children at some point.

“I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I’m now at the stage where if it happened, I would like to have a kid,” she explained.

“I feel fortunate enough that if I step out of this for a minute, I’m hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I’ve always wanted that.”

Speaking about her relationship with Jack, she enthused about how supportive they are to one another.

Speaking about The Outrun, in which she plays a young woman dealing with alcoholism, she said:  “We both believe in each other’s ability so much, so he would have known that not only was that the next role that I would want to play, but it’s the next role that I needed to play.”
