Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy’s son has just been cast in HBO’s new drama as he follows in his Oscar-winning father’s footsteps.

The 18-year-old has been cast in a star-studded TV series, WAR.

Aran Murphy is Cillian and Yvonne McGuinness’ second son. He also has an older brother, Malachy.

Aran will join Dominic West and Sienna Miller in the HBO and Sky co-production.

So what is the show about?

WAR follows two of Londonโ€™s most prestigious rival law firms, Cathcarts and Taylor & Byrne, as they go head-to-head in the divorce case of the century.

As the case spirals and loyalties fracture, reputations are on the line, and everyoneโ€™s playing to win. It is an anthology series with a new case each season.

Interesting!

Deadline has reported that Celia Imrie (The Thursday Murder Club) and Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), who are both currently in the Celebrity Traitors in the UK, have joined the cast.

Aran’s agency Lisa Richards Agency shared the news on Instagram, saying: “We are thrilled to announce that Aran Murphy has joined the cast of WAR, the upcoming HBO and Sky co-production. Aran will star as Gabriel in the gripping new series lead by Dominic West and Sienna Miller.”

WAR will be available to watch in Ireland on Sky. We can’t wait to watch!
