The next generation
Although Bad Bunny’s performance didn’t include any overt pushbacks against the Trump administration, one of the most memorable moments of the whole show was when he handed his Grammy Award to a young boy as his recent acceptance speech, where he criticised ICE and the current US government, played on a TV in the background.

A call for peace and unity
Bad Bunny’s ultimate goal throughout his show was to honour his home and call for unity in America. At the end of his performance, the artist called out “God Bless America,” (his only English line of the whole show) and proceeded to every country in all of the Americas. On the screen behind him, the words “The only thing more powerful than hate is love” flashed for everyone to see.
