Yep, Charleen Murphy Is *That* Love Island Girl

It’s finally happened lads – Charleen Murphy is in the Love Island villa. For real.

Well, she’s actually in Casa Amor and will need to make a serious impression on one of the boys to get back to the main villa, but we have absolute faith in our girl.

Charleen entered Casa last night alongside five other gals all hoping for a chance at love.

And of course, she’s already making a serious first impression.

Upon entering Casa, Charleen said she was setting her sights on Kavan, Aidan, Lorenzo, and Fitzy, the latter whom she already knows from the content creation scene in Ireland.

The pair immediately hit it off, though for the minute it looks as though their relationship may be only platonic. Kavan, on the other hand…

Well, he seems smitten.

If you’re not from Ireland, you may be confused as to why Charleen has so many people rooting for her, and why her entry into Casa is such a big deal.

There’s the simple fact that we’ve been waiting for this for months. 

Charleen was first majorly tipped for Love Island back in April when she went to Coachella with Lucinda Stafford, with rumblings of her casting as far back as her breakup with ex Dano in January.

Basically, it’s been a long time coming.

There’s also the fact that Charleen Murphy is That Girl.

She’s a girls girl, her beauty content is aspirational, she seems genuinely lovely, and she’s mad for a Babybel in a sweet potato.

She’s one of few major creators in Ireland (with a following of almost 1M across both Insta and TikTok) who people universally love. No one has a bad word to say about her. And that’s rare.

Charleen has also already been making waves on the show.

Her and Kavan seem to have a bit of a thing going on, as they’ve already kissed twice in a challenge, and tonight’s preview shows them getting to know each other even more.

Kavan is currently coupled up with Jasmine, but the pair have been arguing a little more than usual over recent days.

Look, as long as she gets back to that main villa, that’s all that matters.
