Apparently Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff Have Split

Apparently Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff are splitting up after three years of marriage.

The couple wed back in 2023 and reportedly are “figuring things out” as they spend some time apart, PEOPLE reports.

A source told the publication that the actor and music producer’s marriage has been “rocky”, after Antonoff attended Taylor Swift’s NYC wedding alone.

Qualley recently removed photos of her wedding from her Instagram, while Jack has also been seen alone in recent weeks, although he is still wearing his wedding ring.

Jack and Margaret met in 2021, got engaged the following year, and married in New Jersey in August 2023.

At the time Antonoff said that he knew he would marry Qualley the “second” he met her.

“I saw her and it was like a f—ing Hallmark movie that doesn’t seem believable,” he said. “When I met her, I started imagining things that I’d never even imagined, like marriage.”

He told The Howard Stern Show that he proposed to Qualley while they were living in Paris, after asking her sister for blessing.

“I came back and I could tell that I looked crazy ‘cause she looked at me like something was wrong, and I think it’s because I had begun to sweat,” he said. “And all I do is joke, so when I become serious, I think it’s a bit arresting.”

“It’s real. It’s amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world,” she said ahead of the wedding. “I’m so excited and so at ease all at once.”

“I never made a home at all. I didn’t care; I cared about movies. I would use my sister’s basement in L.A. as a spot to keep my things. But I didn’t invest in that part of my life. It’s really exciting now to be making a home and to have something to care for.”

The split comes after the publication of Lena Dunham’s memoir, Famesick, in which Dunham detailed her longterm relationship with Antonoff in the 2010s.

In the book, she also discussed Jack’s relationship to Lorde, who he was working with at the time, and how the pair would spend a lot of time together while he and Dunham were dating.
