JK Rowling Is Releasing Four New Harry Potter Books
Will you be giving them a read?
It’s been twenty years since the Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone was released, and there’s no sign of the wizarding world slowing down.
There’s still an obsession with all things Hogwarts from homeware to PJs (have you seen Penneys lately?), and we’re still gettting movies connected to the wizarding world, although they haven’t quite got the same magic.
So with lots of die-hard Harry Potter fans still out there, it makes sense that JK Rowling would keep the story going.
Pottermore announced today that four new short stories were on the way in the form E-Books. Each themed by Hogwarts lessons, the books will take you back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories, accompanied by some line drawings from London-based artist Rohan Daniel Eason.
The four titles are: Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy, and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures all of which will be published in the coming months.
The first pair themed on Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, and Potions and Herbology will be published on 27 June, while the others will follow soon after.
No word from JK Rowling about it on Twitter just yet, the author has been a little quieter on her account in the past few months.
