Support Acts, Stage Times And Setlist: Everything You Need To Know For Westlife This Weekend

There are age restrictions and lots of safety measures that you need to know.

Westlife’s long-awaited return to Croke Park is kicking off on Friday, with a second gig on Saturday.

Fans will travel far and wide to take the stadium in Dublin this weekend, and we want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible for the big night(s).

Here’s everything you need to know… 

Who are the opening acts? 

Wild Youth, best known for their songs Can’t Move On and All Or Nothing are first up, followed by X Factor 2012 winner James Arthur, who will warm up the crowd for Westlife on both Friday and Saturday night.

Stage times 

Westlife will take to the stage at 8.30pm and 8.15pm respectively over the two nights.

Safety and rules

Do not bring backpacks or large handbags, any bags bigger than a4 will not be allowed in.  Bags that are left on their own will be removed and disposed of. You and your bags will be searched on entry.

Please check weather conditions and dress appropriately, but remember no umbrellas. There is no cloakroom or storage facilities on site so don’t bring too much as you’ll end up having to hold onto them all night.

Other items that are not allowed in include glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks and flares.

The Promoter deemed that large outdoor concerts are not a suitable environment for children under 5 years old. There are no facilities in place for babies or small children at the venue.

Under 14’s are not allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied. All Under 16’s attending the concert MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.

Transport/Getting there 

Fans are encouraged to walk, bike, or use public transportation to the show, and say that if you must drive, to use carpools and allow for plenty of time to get there.

Services serving Croke Park (1, 13, 16, 33, 40/B/D, 41/A/B/C, 44) operating as normal, with complete NiteLink services operating both nights also.

Luas
Extra services on both red and green lines both nights.

Irish Rail
Extra trains will be provided
