We don’t want to jinx it, but it seems that 2021 is already looking up. There have been rumours swirling for a while now, but yesterday it was officially confirmed, Sex and the City is coming back.
The iconic show ran for six seasons and also had two films come out afterwards – the less that’s said about the second one the better though. It first started in 1998 and is still as loved now as it was then, even if some episodes are a little dated.
Although some thought a third film could be in the works, HBO Max have officially confirmed that the show will be back for a limited series.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the main role of Carrie Bradshaw in the show, commented on this in a recent interview; “I wouldn’t call it a reboot, I would call it a revisit.”
“I’d like to see where all of them are. I’m curious, the world has changed even since the movie… technology and social media.”

Most importantly, will all four of the SATC gals be back? Kim Cattrall and SJP are well known to not get along following disagreements about pay differences between the two, so will our beloved Samantha Jones be joining them/
According to reports, possibly not. An insider speaking with Page Six revealed that Kim has always said she was not interested in any sort of reunion and that she would not be coming back.
Lets hope this isn’t set in stone, as we can’t have Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte without Samantha.
