There’s a lot coming to Netflix next month and it’s safe to say we’re thrillt. As binge watching series and tucking into new movies is one of life’s most needed and simple pleasures at the moment, it’s great to see new content dropping on the streaming service each and every month, as well as some glorious news about renewals constantly coming at us.

And so, here’s the breakdown on some of the most anticipated releases for the month ahead. From newbie releases to old faves – trust us, there’s something in here for everyone.
Worn Stories: Season 1 (April 1st)
A docu-series dedicated to clothes. Created by Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan and Morgan Neville.

In 1960s Paris, Madame Claude’s influence extends beyond the world of sex work — until an affluent young woman threatens to change everything.
This drama has a sense of greatness about it, you just know it’s going to be one to watch.

Thunder Force (April 9th)
We all know and love Melissa McCarthy’s movies. Her comedy’s have you craving more screen time to keep you laughing.
Well, now we have it. A new superhero comedy with co-star Octavia Spencer, this is sure to be a hit.

Castaway (April 1st)
Drama starring Tom Hanks as Chuck Noland, a FedEx executive that is left stranded on a deserted island after surviving a plane crash.
I’m sure we’ve all seen and loved this movie, so now we will get to enjoy it again.

A Star Is Born (April 11th)
We’re going to need the tissues again for this one. A rewatch-able classic that I think we all need to indulge in again at least once. Starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

Dad Stop Embarrassing Me: Season 1 (April 16th)
A sitcom starring Jamie Foxx as a single father and successful cosmetics brand owner gets a crash course in fatherhood when his teenage daughter movies in with him.
I mean, even from that short description you can just tell this one’s going to be hilarious.

Shadow and Bone: Season 1 (April 23rd)
For the fantasy lovers out there, this sounds like the perfect binge series.
In a world ravaged by war, where the threat of the Shadow Fold threatens to destroy everything. When Alina Starkov’s magical powers are revealed to the world, she is sent to train and hone her magical abilities as Grisha, an elite army of magical soldiers.

Things Heard And Seen (April 30th)
A Horror thriller starring Amanda Seyfriend and Natalia Dyer.
An artist relocates to the Hudson Valley and begins to suspect that her marriage has a sinister darkness, one that rivals her new home’s history.
As for a trailer, it looks as though we surprisingly don’t have one yet, but when we hear word that one has dropped, we’ll be sure to update you.
