5 Things We Love From Milani, The US Drugstore Beauty Brand On Its Way To Boots

Yes, US beauty brands. Come to us.

Hey, fellow US drugstore fiends – Milani is coming to Boots very soon.

The brand is hugely popular over in the States, and anyone who’s tuned into the beauty industry has probably already heard about or tried the products.

Milani has been available to Irish shoppers via Beauty Bay for a while now, but if you’re not up on your US drugstore brands, it might have evaded your notice.

Its exact arrival date hasn’t been revealed yet, so watch this space – until then, here are five good reasons to check it out…

The Baked Blush in Luminoso

This is probably Milani’s most famous product – a peachy, gold-streaked blush that makes your cheeks come to life. I picked it up at a CVS in San Francisco in 2016, and it’s been my favourite powder blush ever since. Honestly, it’s dreamy.

Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper

Another US purchase for me, and an unexpected favourite. I have it in the shade Luminoso (look, I likes what I likes) and it feels balmy, non-sticky, and vaguely tingly in a way that’s pleasant, not like your lips are going to fall off. I never thought I’d be so into a gloss, but here we are…

Eyeshadow Primer

This product comes with the Reddit seal of approval – go to any thread about Milani products and someone is screaming about how this hangs on to their shadows like there’s no tomorrow. That’s certainly something we can certainly get behind.

Soft & Sultry Eyeshadow Palette

We’re always keeping an eye out for affordable, great quality eyeshadow palettes, and Milani have not one but two lovely options. The Soft & Sultry palette is full of buttery, rich neutrals, while the Pure Passion palette has got all those warm tones we can’t get enough of. The shadows are easy to work with and packed with pigment. Ideal!

Make It Last Setting Spray

A favourite among YouTubers, the Make It Last setting spray lives up to its name with aplomb. In fact, YouTube megastar KathleenLights says it’s like MAC Fix+ “but better”. High praise indeed.
