5 Winter Trends You’re Bound To See Everywhere This Jan
It's freezing... but you can still look cool
As temperatures drop, we know that when it comes to style in the colder months, comfort comes first. We’ll be the first to admit that dressing on trend for the summer is much easier – but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still be looking class all year long.
But it’s not all bad, more layers means more ways to express yourself through your style. It looks like this winter is all about different textures and patterns and we’re here for it!
Here are some of our favourite winter trends that have already taken over our Instagram feed.
Faux Fur Coats

Faux fur coats have become a staple this winter. Not only do they look glamorous, but they will also keep you warm on those chilly days.
Whether you style your faux fur coat with jeans or a mini dress for a night out, you are guaranteed to look chic and effortless. With the rise of the ‘Mob Wife Aesthetic’ trend on TikTok with the hashtag having over 42m views, it is no surprise that faux fur coats are trending.
Opt for a classic neutral coat to elevate any outfit or if you’re feeling bold, add a colour faux fur for a statement look.
And if you have a vintage fur coat hanging around your wardrobe, that’s even better!
Leather Gloves

With the colder months upon us, leather gloves are making a strong comeback. This season, why not embrace your inner chic and invest in a pair of faux leather gloves?
From classic black or brown to deep maroons, leather gloves will go with any winter outfit. They are the perfect winter accessory to complete your look plus, they will keep your hands warm.
The glove trend is everywhere and only set to get bigger.

Another influence from the ‘Mob Wife Aesthetic’ lovers, leopard print has been taking over our Instagram feed. Love it or hate it, leopard print has always been a constant in the never-ending fashion cycle, and for this season, it’s a yes from us.
From coats to dresses or accessories such as scarves or shoes, leopard print adds a touch of fun to your winter wardrobe. Keep the rest of your outfit minimal to let this trend be the centre of attention.
We know that it can seem a bit overwhelming, but you can lean in or just visit the trend!
Baseball Caps

Baseball caps are trending and are soon becoming this winter’s favourite accessory. If you want to make a subtle fashion statement yet still look cool and casual, then adding a baseball cap to your look is a great option.
A baseball cap can elevate your look and add a pop of colour and the best part is it can cover up any bad hair day! Pair with a chic long winter coat, jeans, and some fun trainers or Uggs for a casual and effortless look.
So swap out your beanies for baseball caps!
Shorts and Tights

The shorts and tights trend is taking over our Instagram and Pinterest feeds and is also sparking some debates. The trend was started by Hailey Bieber with Kendall Jenner also sporting the look. Rate it or hate it, this trend allows you to show off those legs and proves that shorts aren’t just for the warmer months!
Although not the most sensible outfit choice for cold weather, if you have the confidence to get those legs out of retirement a little earlier this year, we think it’s a trend worth hopping on.
And there is plenty of inspiration for it! We promise!
Winter trends for this season are all about our favourite classics making a comeback. Embrace this season’s trends by wearing them with confidence and putting your own twist on them.
