ARKET Just Opened Its First Irish Store – Here’s What We Know
It's here
If you’ve been wandering around Dublin city centre lately, you may have noticed a considerably large building appear on the corner of Dawson and Nassau street.
The new build has been there for a while, but other the last few months it has bore the name ARKET – as it prepares for the opening of its new store.
No, it’s not missing the ‘M’, it’s actually a Nordic lifestyle brand that’s just opened a flagship shop in Ireland’s capital.
Here’s what we know so far.
ARKET officially opened its doors today (Thursday, September 4), boasting an array of Nordic inspired, modernist pieces from clothing to accessories to body care and homeware.
Expect monochrome, soft greys, and natural materials like solid oak and greens… and a cafe serving seasonal vegetarian food, obviously.
ARKET is part of the H&M group, who also have a massive flagship store just around the corner on Dame Street. They opened their first shop in London back in 2017, so it was only a matter of time before they made it to Irish shores.
The new shop is two floors and inspired by the “aesthetics of slow living”, emphasising nature and simplicity, “all carefully made and artfully curated for a more beautiful every day life.”
The brand’s Managing Director Pernilla Wohlfahrt says they are only delighted to bring a taste of Nordic living to Dublin, “Weโre very excited to be opening our first ARKET location in Ireland with this beautiful flagship store in the centre of Dublin.
“We look forward to connecting with our local customers and inviting them to explore our vision for a more beautiful everyday life.”
ARKET is selling clothes and accessories for men, women, and children, as well as home and lifestyle pieces rooted in Swedish simplicity.
So, will you be heading in for a sconce?
