Apparently, Phoebe Dynevor Will Not Be In Bridgerton Season Three

Dearest readers, we regret to inform you that the former diamond will be missing from this social season. It looks like Daphne Bridgerton, err- we mean Phoebe Dynevor will not be appearing in the third season of Bridgerton.

Yep, the star has revealed that her character won’t be up to much in the upcoming season, and possibly not in it at all as she said she will be enjoying it as a “viewer”. Season three is set to follow the love story between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

In an interview with Screen Rant Phoebe was asked if her character on the Netflix show would have anything exciting coming up in the next season, to which she replied, “Sadly not in season three. Potentially in the future. But season three, I’m just excited to watch as a viewer.”

The Bridgerton books are known to follow a different sibling of the family in each, Daphne, Phoebe’s character was the first to be focussed on in the series, followed by Anthony Bridgerton in season two and now Colin.

Although we will be missing Phoebe in the new season, we are very excited to see Galway actress Nicola Coughlan become the leading lady.

Nicola has suggested that viewers can expect more raunchy scenes akin to season one. The Irish starlet also hinted at Penelope having her own sexy scenes to come, saying that her and co-star Luke Newton, who plays love interest Colin, are lowkey dreading any upcoming sex scenes. According to Digital Spy she said the jokes about their steamy scenes are becoming, ‘progressively less funny and more intimidating as time goes on’.

There is no release date for next season just yet, but we are buzzing for it, here’s hoping it’s in 2023!
