The iconic singer, who has just embarked on the European leg of her world tour, took to Instagram to announce the news to her 308 million followers. She posted a makeup-less photo of herself in front of a vanity, while she sat on the ground curling her hair.

There’s an array of bottles in the foreground of the photo giving us a serious tease as to what’s to come. It’s giving us protect and style vibes at the minute but we guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

She included a little note to her fans in the last slide of photos explaining the idea behind the brand that is nameless for the minute saying: “How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?”

She continues: “Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.”

She finishes off the note telling her fans: “I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”

This isn’t Beyonce’s first step into the beauty world though.

She released her wildly anticipated fragrance Heat in 2010 and was also taken on as a L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador in 2008.

We truly can not wait to see just what this icon has in store for her new brand.

We will be waiting with bated breath.
