Blake Lively Announces The Birth of Baby Number 4

Blake Lively has announced the birth of her fourth baby with husband Ryan Reynolds.

Blake revealed the couple welcomed their child through a subtle Instagram post for Superbowl Sunday which included a picture of Blake herself, husband Ryan and Lively’s mother. Blake had no visible baby bump confirming that she had in fact given birth.

The caption read: ‘Puppy Bowl 2023. Been Busy’. Further confirming the addition to their now family of six.

The couple have not revealed their little bundle’s name or gender which is unsurprising as they have always been private when it comes to their children’s lives and their new addition is no exception.

The acting royalty duo have three girls already – James,7, Inez, 6 and Betty, 3.

Blake revealed her pregnancy in an Instagram post back in September and has kept a low profile throughout. The post revealed that there were a host of paparazzi outside her house: “waiting on a unicorn sighting”.

Ryan Reynolds took to the Today Show on 8th November 2022 chatting about his status as a ‘girl dad’, while also revealing that they don’t know the sex of the the new baby, that they never find out before the birth continuing to say: “I know girls, so I’m kind of hoping that, but I’m ready for whatever happens.”

When chatting on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in November, Reynolds was asked how the family of 5 were preparing for their new addition. He replied with humour and a lot of relatability saying: “The first one you get, you know, everything’s like perfect, and you just set up everything and everything’s sterilized. By the fourth, you’re just like, ‘Oh, right, this is happening. This is happening. I should sweep or something”. He continued on saying he can’t say the same for Blake but that she is “in it to win it”, that she’s ready and they’re all excited.

We can’t wait to hear baby number four’s name and gender when Blake and Ryan decide it’s time to reveal – until then we wish them well as they navigate life as a family of six.
