Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Welcome 4th Child Via Surrogate

Such a sweet family!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced the birth of their fourth child via surrogate.

The couple took to Instagram on June 28th to share the news that  they’d welcomed a son via surrogate on June 19th.

They had exciting news for fans revealing their newborn baby boy was named Wren Alexander Stephens.

Chrissy took to Instagram to show her followers the reality of their surrogacy journey while also excitedly revealing she had wanted four children for “as long as [she] can remember”.

The Instagram post touched on life, love and loss. The emotional words Chrissy penned regarding the premature loss of their son Jack in 2020 while he was still in utero were heartbreaking particularly as she revealed she thought she wouldn’t be able to “carry any more babies on my own”.

She revealed that herself and John had reached out to a surrogacy agency in 2021 in the hope of finding tandem surrogates that could give them a healthy baby boy and girl.

Early on in their surrogate journey, Chrissy decided that she wanted to try getting pregnant “just one more time”.

“If it doesn’t work, we will be okay. We’ve already seen the worst. I promised I would be okay no matter what happened,” she said.

The couple started undergoing IVF treatment again, the same process that brought them their oldest children Luna – eight and Miles – four.

Chrissy was creeping towards the safe zone of her own pregnancy when the couple found out their surrogate Alexandra was also pregnant with their fourth child.

She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Esti back in January, allowing them to enjoy Alexandra’s pregnancy for the last five months.

The post finished with a beautiful message sharing the arrival of the couple’s baby boy.

Chrissy said: “Just minutes before midnight on June 19th, I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength, pure joy and love.
