Everything We Know About Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Girlfriend’

It’s official! Lewis Capaldi is taken.

The singer is reportedly dating actress Ellie MacDowall and the pair were said to be spotted smooching at the BRITS after party at the weekend.

A source told the UK Sun, “It’s official, Lewis is in love and he couldn’t be happier. He has been dating Ellie for some time now and while they are usually very low-key, he couldn’t keep his hands off her at the after-party.”

“It was very sweet to see him so happy, and Ellie clearly adores him too. They sat on the sofa kissing and talking for a while before Lewis headed off to the dance floor,” they continued.

The pair were first linked in November and seem to be going strong although they don’t seem to have grid posts with each other up yet, but they do follow each other on Instagram.

Lewis was spotted locking lips with another famous singer at the BRIT Awards however, although in a friendly way, after Harry Styles won one of his four awards Lewis approached him and planted a peck on his lips before the pair embraced in a sweet moment.

This was a delight for One Direction fans as Lewis is well known to be best friends with Niall Horan, and now it seems he is pals with Harry Styles, why don’t all three just hang out and have a mini 1D reunion?

Lewis also performed on the night, but in a classic awards show blunder he was introduced incorrectly with Mo Gilligan announcing “Sam Capaldi” was taking to the stage. Lewis seemed to see the funny side of it as he photoshopped his head on to Sam Smith’s awards show look with the caption, “Sam Capaldi” on Instagram.
