Frank Ocean has cancelled his headline show for weekend two of Coachella, just one week after the ‘chaotic’ show that gained him significant backlash from attendees. It was his first live show in seven years, unfortunately it left many fans sad and confused.
A rep for Frank Ocean confirmed with Rolling Stone that Frank would no longer be performing his headline show at Coachella weekend two. He suffered multiple leg injuries – two fractures and a sprain in his left leg – during the first weekend, and was medically advised against performing.

His headline performance at weekend one was his first performance since 2017. He was set to perform at Coachella in 2020 but due to the pandemic it was pushed until 2023.
However, everything started to go wrong when it was announced the performance would not be livestreamed on Youtube.
And it only went downhill from there for the fans who had waited hours to see him.
The RnB singer took to the stage at 11pm PST an hour later than scheduled.
He left out several hit songs that were highly anticipated during his performance and even used a vocal track for others to which he very obviously was lip synching.
If that wasn’t enough, the show abruptly ended at midnight due to the festival’s strict Sunday midnight curfew.
He left the stage momentarily before returning to announce the end of the show – what a disaster!
In a statement the 35-year-old said: “It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon.”
Blink-182 will be taking over the headline spot at Coachella weekend two according to Variety.
