The popular talk show will air its final show on April 27th after eight years on air.
The shows social media accounts confirmed across all platforms that Will and Harry would be joining James in studio for the final show.
This comes just days following the show shutting down viral rumours they would be bringing the boyband, One Direction back together for the final show – one can still dream!
James opened up to Jimmy Fallon while on The Tonight Show late last year about the end of The Late Late Show saying: “My intention, which I think I’ll fail at dramatically, is to just not be crying for the entire hour, which I think I will be.”
He continued on saying: “So I’m really going to try to keep it together. Our intention is to, you know, go out in the way that we came in and I will miss it hugely”.
The beloved talk show host has revealed that giving his kids the experience of living in London has always been his and his wife Julia’s plan once their oldest Max had completed sixth grade (6th class equivalent).

The couple have been married over a decade and share three kids Max – 11, Carey – 8, and Charlotte – 5.
James commented on his decision to leave while on The Jennifer Hudson Show saying: “We’ll have done it for eight years, it will be 1200 shows. I feel very… look I know it’s the right thing to do. It was always meant to be… it was always meant to be an adventure and not a final destination”.
He continued on saying: “I’ll miss it. I’ll miss it every day. I will absolutely miss every single second of it and all the people that I work with, but it just feels like it’s probably time to go and put down some roots with our families”.
Well one thing is for sure James Cordon will be missed!
