Laura Anderson Comments On Her Split From Gary Lucy After ‘Changing’ Their Child’s Name In Instagram Post

"I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary..."

Laura Anderson has spoken out about her split from Gary Lucy.

The former Love Island star took to social media to address their breakup, posting a statement on her Instagram story.

She shared “I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary”, she then went on to explain she felt she was left with “no other choice”.

After multiple people had shared information on their relationship, Laura felt it was necessary to explain to her fans the plans her and Gary had made, saying, “Our plan was for me to move to Essex to start our family which I was more than happy to do. However since relationship I have remained at home in Scotland.”

Laura also states that she “never asked or expected Gary to move to Scotland.”

“I fully support him living in Essex to be close to his four amazing children,” she continued.

Anderson also said her “priority is bringing [her] baby up in a calm and stable environment”. While it is hard to live in the spotlight Laura also shared that she can’t wait to share her pregnancy journey with all her fans!

Laura signed her message off with, “Thank you so much for your support! Laura, Buddy & Bump”

Earlier this week, fans noticed that Anderson took to Instagram to edit her previous post announcing her pregnancy. The caption read, “My heart is full, Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23”, and it now says, “Baby Anderson due Summer ‘23”.

Although many of her friends took to the comment section to congratulate her last week, Anderson has since then turned off the comment section.

The pair announced their pregnancy last week and shortly after Gary confirmed they were no longer together but intend to co-parent their child.
