Liam Reardon Says Millie Court Would Be A Perfect Wife And Mother Despite Their Split

"Never say never"...

Love Island 2021 winners Liam Reardon and Millie Court called off their relationship in July of this year and the pair have since been spending time apart.

Liam went in search of love once again on a reality dating show as he joined the cast of Celebs Go Dating, while Millie has spent time with her friends including her Love Island besties Chloe Burrows and Lucinda Stratford.

Although things are over for the pair, Liam seems to have hope that they will one day reunite, speaking to OK! he said, “Never say never. Maybe one day in the future, we’ll rekindle.

“I definitely haven’t ruled it out because I know her morals and what she has, and that is something I would want in someone, in a wife.”

Continuing he gushed about his ex and explained that he was at fault for their split, “I didn’t know who I was. It was nothing to do with Millie, she is the perfect girlfriend. And she would be, in the future, a perfect wife and a perfect mother.”

So maybe this chapter isn’t completely closed for them!

When they announced their split via Instagram story statements, Millie wrote, ” “Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation, Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated. It’s been a tough decision and I am gutted but it’s ultimately what is best for us right now.

“Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship. Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island & the past year and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does. We’re both ready for new chapters and I’m excited for what’s next. Love, Millie”

Liam’s statement was very similar to Millie’s admitting he was “so gutted” but that it’s for the best.
As for what Millie made of Liam’s quick return to dating reality TV? He shared her thoughts with OK! saying, “She understood, she understands this lifestyle and career we’re in now so she was fine with it.”

Although it looks like Liam won’t be following in Adam Collard’s footsteps and returning to the Love Island villa in search of love anytime soon, he recently told The Sun, “I personally I wouldn’t. That’s up to Adam, do what he likes. I wouldn’t because you know, I love my experience. I spent it with Millie and you know everyone I met on the show. So, I wouldn’t want to redo the experience or it go any differently. I wouldn’t want to go any other way.”
