Lucas Bravo has revealed that his heartthrob character Gabriel won’t be as involved in relationship drama in season four of Emily in Paris.

The Emily In Paris star has revealed that he’s ready for his character to grow up and finally “take responsibility for his actions”.

Season three of the hit Netflix show ended with Camile calling off her wedding to Gabriel at the alter as a result of his and Emily’s unresolved feelings for each other. Gabriel then proceeds to add to the shock factor announcing Camille was pregnant with their first child.

Lucas said: “I know that Gabriel in season four is aiming for the Michelin star. He’s maturing a lot. He’s not going to be so much involved in relationship dramas. I think he wants to aim for something very mature and stable.”

The French star revealed he’s excited to bring everything he has learnt in the last four years into the character saying: “So I’m happy that in season four I’ll be able to bring more of what I became and what I’ve experienced in the past four years.”

He continued saying: “I think it’s going to be coming of age for him in season four, which is nice to play. Because when you start a character, then there’s a year where you experience the world and you mature, you become another person and you come back and it’s exactly the day you left off.”

Lily Collins revealed that season four will be the final season of the show as she said she was delighted they got to tie up loose ends: “Thank God there is a season 4. Because going into this finale thinking that we get to finish those cliffhangers would be a gift. And if we didn’t get that, I think we all would’ve had panic attacks.”

The Emily in Paris season four release date has been pushed back again as a result of the Writer’s Guild of America strikes so we will just have to binge watch seasons one-to-three in preparation.
