Many people are saying that LeBlanc resembles an Irish uncle, and, well they aren’t wrong…

The former Friends star has made quite an impression on Irish Twitter since the premiere of the Friends reunion on Thursday. Twitter users have taken a picture of LeBlanc in a short sleeved striped black shirt, leaning back on a chair, very ‘listening to a story in the pub’ esque vibes, and slotted him into many hilarious scenarios an Irish uncle may find themselves in.

Why are they all so accurate? We wonder if Matt himself has caught a glimpse of any, or even understands what’s going on! If it was even possible to be a bigger fan of Joey Tribbiani, we are now.

The much anticipated Friends reunion aired this week getting all six cast members back on the iconic set after 17-years. The emotional show featured many guest celebrities all paying tribute to the much loved show, including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, who sang Smelly Cat with Lisa Kudrow, and the return of much loved side characters such as Tom Selleck as Richard, Monica’s ex.

These Matt LeBlanc meme’s aren’t what we expected to be the stand out moment from the show, but we aren’t complaining.
