Millie Bobby Brown has revealed she’s ready to say goodbye to the hit Netflix show Stranger Things. She joined the cast back in 2015 before the show aired in 2016 when she was just 12-years-old.

After playing the same characters for most of their teen years is it any wonder the’re looking to broaden their acting portfolio with some new work, Millie has made it clear that she’s ready to move on from her role as Eleven.

In a brand new interview Millie revealed that she’s ready to bid goodbye to her beloved character, which is at the beginning stages of filming the 5th and final installment of the series.

In the interview with Seventeen magazine Millie said: “I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up”.

Don’t you worry while the series creators the Duffer brothers mentioned a 2022 release which has clearly been and gone, it is likely we won’t actually see our favourite Stranger Things cast mates back on our screens until 2025.

The fifth season is reportedly due to begin filming in June 2023 and Finn Wolfhard also revealed in an interview that he’ll be 22 by the time the new season is available to stream!

In an interview with GQ Finn said: “By the time it comes out, I will be 22, I think, and I started working on the show at 12. That is insane”.

So even though Millie obby Brown is ready to part ways with her character she will still be doing promos and red carpets for the new season until at least 2025 it seems – you can all release that breath you were holding now.
