Oktoberfest Is Coming – But With An Irish Twist!

Sláinte!

Forget about Oktoberfest – it’s time for Oktoberfeis.

The traditional German festival is getting an Irish makeover. This new festival will combine the best of Irish culture and the unmatched atmosphere of the German beer festival.

Between September 9th to October 21st there will be 10 events happening all across the country. Attendees can look forward to Irish trad bands, DJs and dancers, authentic Irish food stalls, roving performers, and an eclectic mix of entertainment and competitions across the evening. Some of your favourite Irish bands like the Whistlin’ Donkeys, George Murphy & The Rising Sons and Rake the Ashes will all be making an appearance across the dates as well.

Since the celebrations are taking inspiration from the German festival, the Irish adaption will also feature all the things we love most about the German Oktoberfest, such as the long biergarten tables, Steins of Beer, and the best of Irish Music and entertainment.

Speaking about the new festival, founder Craig Reynolds says ‘This new festival idea was inspired by the legendary Munich Oktoberfest. We will capture what is most loved about the iconic German festival while adding an authentic Irish twist throughout.”

Tickets for Oktoberfeis are now available for purchase at the festival’s official website. Prices start from only €25.
