Olly Murs Marries Longtime Girlfriend In Island Ceremony

They’re now an Army Of Two!

Over the weekend, popular singer Olly Murs married his longtime girlfriend, Amelia Tank, surrounded by friends and family.

Olly’s friend Mark Wright of TOWIE fame, took to Instagram to share the nuptials news on his Instagram, as he got ready for the second day of celebrations.

Mark posted a selfie to his Instagram story with the X-factor star captioning the post: “Celebrating this one @ollymurs and @tankintraining wedding day. Love you both x.”

The pair were decked out in festival garb as they posed together for the selfie.

Mark gave his followers a look inside the festival inspired party which took place in Essex’s Osea Island.

The set up featured a stage, funfair rides and even a ‘Murs Fest’ arch.

A plane flew over the island on Sunday sporting a banner which read: “Olly and Amelia, just married.”

Olly and Amelia have been together for four years and got engaged last July 2022 in a stunning beach proposal.

The pair announced their engagement when Olly took to Instagram posting a picture from the beach proposal. He captioned it with the date, along with his fiancé’s name.

Amelia quickly added the pic to her story captioning it: “Here’s to forever with you.”

Back in May the couple were rumoured to be getting married on a ‘private island’ at home in Essex. A source told The Express: “Olly is proud of his Essex roots, so the chance to marry at home, while also offering an exclusive and isolated location was an ideal blend. The island’s relaxed, vacation-like atmosphere will make guests feel they’re overseas. Olly is excitedly looking forward to sharing his big day with loved ones.”
