Teaser: Take A Look At The Final Trailer For The Summer I Turned Pretty!
The excitement is real guys and gals!
We’re days away from Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah returning to our screens on Prime Video so it’s only right that the shows creators feed us with glimpses of scenes and some T.Swift tunes.
In preparation for the first three episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty dropping on July 14th, a final trailer has dropped and well… it is nothing short of spectacular.
Featuring the worldwide exclusive first listen of Back to December (Taylor’s Version) from the soon-to-be released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and August from the 2021 Grammy-winning Album Of The Year Folklore, by Taylor Swift it is a trailer not to be missed.
The official trailer for the second season of the beloved teen series give us a bigger insight into the plot of the upcoming episodes including that messy love triangle between Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah as well as a soundtrack we are absolutely going to sob to.
We left Cousins Beach last summer after finding out alongside the boys that their mother , Susannah had an aggressive form of cancer, although she was planning on entering a trial in the hopes of recovering. Sadly it seems we are returning to Cousins this year on a sad note…
In the trailer Belly mentions knowing she’d eventually lose Susannah she just didn’t expect to lose her friends and family in the aftermath.
She said: “I want to memorise it all. You never know the last time you’re going to see a place, a person. I knew I’d lose Susannah eventually, I just didn’t know I’d end up losing all of them.”
In an emotional moment at what appears to be a high school party Staven blames Belly for his lack of communication with Conrad and Jeremiah saying: “I should be celebrating with Conrad and Jeremiah, but they won’t even text me back anymore cause you made things messy.”
Jeremiah later calls Belly revealing Conrad has gone missing so the pair decide to embark on a road trip in an attempt to find him but things get heated.
After some car troubles pull them off the road Jeremiah angrily confesses: “Belly, you were my best friend! We hooked up and then you hooked up with my brother and everyone expected me to act like I was fine and I wasn’t.”
Things only get worse once they arrive at the beach house realising it has been put up for sale by a woman who is unknown to us.
We see snippets from what appear to be scenes from the past year at the apex of Taylor Swift’s song Back To December (Taylor’s Version), even getting a glimpse of snow falling at Cousins beach … book girlies you know what that means!
Tay-Tay’s re-recorded song Back To December (Taylor’s Version will be available to listen following the release of the album on July 7th.
