We guess this means the countdown is on

Merry Christmas! It looks like the inevitable festive countdown has already begun. Whether you’re a full-blown Mrs. Clause or a self-titled Grinch, you can’t ignore the rising popularity in beauty advent calendars.

Long gone are the days that you looked forward to a sliver of chocolate each December morning in the lead up to the 25th, now we’re all grown-ups and are looking for something a bit more substantial to entice us out of bed those cold winter mornings. Que the beauty advent calendar.

In recent years the humble beauty advent calendar has grown massively in popularity. Launching us all back into that excited childlike state, opening up a new window each morning in the lead up to Christmas to be treated to a brand new serum, scented candle, or lipgloss is the stuff of beauty lovers dreams. And so, choosing the right brand for your yearly advent calendar is tedious work.

So, luckily for us, capitalism has our back, with lots of big brands already releasing their take on the advent calendar, giving us plenty of time to choose from them all.

The likes of Giorgio Armani, Jo Malone, Space NK, L’Occitaine, and many more have all dropped deets on their calendars this week for us to get excited about. While some are on sale right now (Serious will power to leave it unopened until December needed), others are available for pre-order.
