Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Happy BH 2u

It’s almost the weekend – not only that it’s almost the long bank holiday weekend.

If you’re lucky enough to avail of a stunning four days off (!) for Easter, good for you, you are among the chosen ones.

If not, we are very sorry to hear that. Condolences.

Regardless, make sure you take some time to sit back, relax, and read all about what Team STELLAR has been loving this week.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… A fresh face

I’ve gotten really into skincare lately. Like, really into it. Especially serums.

But there comes a point where you feel like you’ve serumed all the serums there are to serum. Lightweight, brightening, sure to knock approx five years off my already youthful cheeks. You name it, I’ve probably put it on my face.

Then Yon-Ka announced their new CBD night serum, and it’s definitely making a case for being my new fav skincare product.

Enriched with 300mg CBD, sacred lotus, adaptogenic reishi extract (mushroom), and organic plant oils, the new serum is ideal for destressing skin, calmness redness (needed) and promoting relaxing sleep.

What can’t it do, honestly?

Last week my mam came home from doing the food shop with the famous 1kg bag of Mini Eggs for us to enjoy over Easter. However the bag spent the week sitting in the sweet press, tempting my sisters and I all week.

As it’s nearly Easter, last night we were finally allowed to open the 1kg bag and wow.

I don’t know if it was the wait or if it’s the bigger bag, but I swear they tasted better than your usual bag of Mini Eggs.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Stunning brows

If there’s one thing I won’t leave the house without, it’s a solid brow. Foundation? Take it or leave it. Mascara? Who cares. Brows are where it’s at for me, and I genuinely don’t feel normal without them.

This week, a new brow product has piqued my interest – and it’s from POCO Beauty.

The brand just launched their latest collection, The TFD (The Finer Detail) Brow Collection. The range included a Pen and Brow Blade, available in three shades, Dirty Blonde, Mink, or Raven.

The Pen promises to replicate feather-like strokes that blend in seamlessly with real life hair, while the Blade glides through the brow to create the illusion of naturally full brows.

Dying to try these, tbh.

After scrubbing my fake tan from St Paddy’s weekend off, my skin needed some TLC, and this Vaseline body lotion definitely did the trick.

The lotion absorbs so quickly and is great for dry skin. Now my skin is smooth, soft, and ready for a fresh layer of tan for the Easter bank holiday weekend.

I also love to use this every day to keep my skin hydrated, especially when I’m wearing tan to help it from looking all cracked.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… A good clean (teeth wise)

Do you brush your teeth properly? Do you floss, mouthwash, scrape your tongue?

If you do, good for you. And if you don’t, a lot of people are probably ick-ed out by you. At least that’s according to new research conducted by Oral-B who found that 90% of Irish adults find poor dental hygiene a turn off.

Makes sense, yeah.

36% of adults stated they would brush-off a second date if they discovered the other person had poor oral hygiene. Best get brushing, so.

I recently rediscovered Olivia Neill’s podcast Inner Monologue and I can’t believe I ever stopped listening!

For me, Inner Monologue is the perfect podcast to listen to as I’m doing bits around the house or on a walk.

It’s not serious or educational so there’s no pressure to be listening to every word she says, and I don’t feel like I should be taking notes. Olivia is so fun, energetic, and entertaining and I could listen to her for hours.
