H&M’s next designer collaboration is coming, and it’s a particular celebrity favourite this time: Moschino.

The brand is regularly sported by Katy Perry, Madonna, Miley Cyrus and Rita Ora, and head designer Jeremy Scott is pals with just about every famous person there is.

H&M’s ranges with Erdem, Alexander Wang and Balmain resulted in queues out the door at their College Green store in Dublin – Moschino will probably be no different, so you’d want to get your game plan in place if you’re hoping to bag some bits.

Scott launched the collaboration at Coachella over the weekend, with Gigi Hadid on hand to model some of the designs:

In typical Moschino style, the H&M range will most likely be heavy on the patterns, cartoons, and pop culture references (the brand has previously had collections devoted to McDonald’s, Barbie, and Spongebob Squarepants).

Speaking to H&M, Scott said he wants the collection to be an ‘escape’ from the bleakness of the world today:

I want to be a bright light in the midst of so much darkness; people need a moment, a break from it. If I can give people a little escape with fashion, even if it’s for a minute when someone scrolls through Instagram, I’ll take it.

Peeking at this behind-the-scenes shot from Coachella, it seems that’s exactly what he’s done -we’re seeing lots of CD prints, plus gold military detailing, sky high lace-up boots, and SPANGLES.

“For over a decade, I collaborated with Adidas to make pieces that were affordable and accessible all over the world,” said Scott. “I carried those sensibilities to Moschino, with items like phone cases or small leather goods that are more affordable. But I want to reach an even more international audience at a reasonable price.”

Collections for women and men will land in stores and online on November 8, with prices starting from €26. Gird your loins.
