Girls Star Zosia Mamet Rocked The Autumn Hair Of Your Dreams On Her Wedding Day

Congrats are in order for Girls actress Zosia Mamet who tied the knot over the weekend.

The 28-year-old, who has just wrapped filming on the show’s final season, married her South African partner Evan Jonigkeit in an intimate country ceremony on Saturday.

Zosia kept things private for her big day – indeed, her co-stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams didn’t seem to be in attendance – but a couple of details have made it online.

First and foremost: the bride’s hairdo. While we’ve yet to see any snaps of Zosia’s dress, we reckon it was total autumnal wedding chic… at least if her stunning wedding hair was anything to go by.

Rather than wearing a veil, Zosia opted to have wine red and pink blooms braided into her hair by her long-time hairstylist Tommy Buckett.

“Sometimes you just don’t need a veil. Congrats @zosiamamet to being the girl that has never been traditional,” Tommy wrote, sharing a snap of  the back of Zosia’s head. Also visible were the actress’s square silver earrings and strands of a long vintage-style silver necklace wound around her neck.

Tommy later shared a second (since deleted) snap from the “wild wedding,” showing a table covered in spilled red wine. Looks like a LOT of fun was had…

Both Zosia and Evan posted this snap of a pair of rubber ducks sitting front of a heart with their initials inside. “My best friend, my soulmate, my HUSBAND, I love you. Here’s to forever and a day,” Zosia wrote, with family and friends congratulating her in the comments and thanking her for a “perfect” wedding day.

The newlyweds – both actors – met back in 2013 when they performed together in the off-Broadway play Really Really.
