Priscilla Presley’s eponymous film landed on Irish cinema screens this month – and people can’t get enough of her makeup!

The film, directed by Sofia Coppola, portrays a young Priscilla Presley (Cailee Spaeny) falling in love with Elvis and being whisked away into a world of glamour.

Her life begins to change, for what she thinks is the better…but is it really everything she wanted?

We’ll say no more, but if you haven’t seen it, we recommend you get to the cinema – stat!

Throughout the film, as Priscilla’s relationship with Elvis evolves, so does her look.

The budding icon’s hair gets darker and bigger. She adopts an incredibly distinct makeup style; black rimmed eyes with cut crease shadow, thin shaped brows, peachy cheeks and nude lips.

And it’s this super 60’s look that’s got everyone rushing to the YouTube tutorials!

For the base, you want your skin to look naturally sun kissed – think golden bronzers and warm, peachy blushes.

Priscilla swept her blush right from the apples of her cheeks out to the widest part of her face, giving her a youthful appearance.

When it comes to recreating Priscilla’s eye looks, it’s all about a blackest of black eyeliners, with a dramatic cut crease that will make your eyes pop.

If you want to be true to the most striking of Priscilla’s looks, draw a sharp line in black or brown eyeliner that goes from your inner corner to out above your natural crease. This creates the impression of larger lid space.

Then, beneath the line use a light powdery shadow to fill in for contrast.

For a softer look, instead of the firm line, simply blend a cool toned brown shadow above your crease and wing it out toward your temples.

The most important step of all is the black liner! Don’t be afraid to be bold and thick with your wing; Priscilla went all the way!

You’ll also want to line your waterlines, top and bottom, with a black kohl pencil.

Sometimes the fashion icon would bring her dark eyeliner out from her bottom waterline too, creating a double wing.

Lastly, choose a high volume, dramatic mascara to match; or find the fluffiest, fullest falsies you can.

When it came to her pout, Priscilla opted most often for a very pale nude or peachy lip.

She would line with a darker pencil, and not worry too much about bending – the look is intentionally high contrast!

Choose a coral lipliner, and then fill in your lips with the shade of your choice. If it all looks a little too extreme, blend gently inwards from your lip line, leaving the palest part of your lip at the centre.

Finish with a clear gloss, and you’re good to go!
