Is Saoirse Ronan Becoming a Fashion Icon?

We think...... yes

As Saoirse Ronan’s press tour for her new film The Outrun heats up, Ireland’s beloved star has been captivating fans with her striking fashion choices, and we’re absolutely hooked.

Most recently, she landed on the Best Dressed list at the Academy Museum Gala, wearing a stunning Louis Vuitton gown that solidified her place as a style force to be reckoned with.

If you haven’t already caught it, Saoirse recently graced the cover of British Vogue, where she flaunted an array of standout fashion looks that further cement her status as a true style icon. This marks Saoirse’s fourth Vogue cover, following her American Vogue debut back in 2020 during the release of Lady Bird.

This time around, what really grabbed attention wasn’t just her high-fashion ensembles, but the way she proudly showcased her natural Irish freckles in a stunning close-up shot.

For her current press tour, Saoirse has been working closely with renowned American fashion editor and stylist Danielle Goldberg, whose client list includes the likes of Ayo Edebiri and Olivia Rodrigo. Danielle’s influence is evident, adding a modern edge to Saoirse’s recent looks.

It’s a notable shift, as Saoirse previously collaborated with celebrity stylist Elizabeth Saltzman during her Little Women and Lady Bird tours, making this a stylish evolution for her latest project.

Over the past five years, styling during a film’s press tour has become just as eagerly anticipated as the movie itself. One standout trend we’ve seen is method styling, partially popularised by Zendaya, who collaborated with renowned stylist Law Roach to craft iconic red carpet looks.

These looks reflect the essence of the film being promoted, blending fashion with the movie’s narrative through clothing. We also saw this with the Barbie press run, where Margot Robbie exclusively wore pink and cleverly recreated some of Barbie’s most iconic outfits throughout the press run.

So it’s no doubt that Miss Saoirse Ronan has stepped up her fashion game in the roll-out of The Outrun, wearing a series of blue looks. These looks cleverly mirror her character’s striking blue hair and the vibrant tones of the film’s cover poster.

As this is her first time producing a movie, it’s clear that Saoirse is making sure we’re all paying attention—especially with the help of her stylist, Danielle.

In addition to The Outrun, Saoirse is also promoting Blitz, an Apple TV war drama where she plays the lead. A fan even commented under a post from Danielle, saying, “She has never looked better. Killing it for both of these press tours!!”

This dynamic duo is clearly solidifying Saoirse as a certified fashion icon. Another win for our talented Irish actors!
