Ellen Mirojnick is a force to be reckoned with.
The 71-year-old New Yorker is who you’ve got to thank for the beautiful costumes in the latest Netflix hit Bridgerton – but she’s also the talent behind some of the best costumes on the big screen.
Ellen is an Emmy award winning costume designer known for her work in Behind The Candleabra, Fatal Attraction, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, The Greatest Showman, and in similar style to Bridgerton, the glitzy and beautiful Cinderella in 1977.

Yes, she’s got some serious taste, and her latest work proves that once again, as we see Bridgerton chart across the world and everyone fall in love with embroidery, as well as corsets and puff sleeve dresses; which are already “in vogue”.
Her fresh and fantastical take on Regency-era silhouettes has everyone wanting a piece of the elegant pie, using her eye to incorporate parts of the show’s style into their own wardrobe and even their home decor.
With antique mirrors, accent chairs and sweet tea sets, Bridgerton is giving us serious inspiration and if you just couldn’t get enough of the show, check out Ellen’s page for some serious BTS snaps.
